MORE ABOUT US....
They are getting much better about letting me put in their eye and ear meds and cleaning out their ears.
In order to do so you must separate them otherwise one crawls on you while you are working on the other one and it is almost impossible to do or get anything done, but they just love and want the attention.
Their skin, eyes and ears are doing wonderful and the improvement is amazing in just a short period of time.
These girls are very unique and are going to require a unique home life/situation.
They are going to need to be the only fur-kids (no other dogs) this duo is going to take up a lot of your time as they want nothing more than all of your love and attention.
Due to their shyness and uncertainty about things and noises they will require a calm, quiet home that does not have a lot of activity, so no kids please.
The white/red brindle girl is very laid back but wears the pants of the duo, the brindle/white girl is more out going, bouncy and playful.
They need someone who will spend some time with them to work on some basic skills and manners, you can tell they have had them in the past but have forgot how to use them or when to use them.
If you feel you can give these girls what they will require please contact me.

Welcome Fanny & Freida
This Dazzling Duo comes to us from a good samaritan who recognized that they needed help, she took them from a "less than desirable" situation and then turned them over to CBRR.
Please note that these two girls must stay together and will not be separated for any reason.
They are sisters and have spent their whole lives together, they love and rely on each other very much.
Once upon a time they belonged to a good family, then there was a death of one of their parents and the girls were rehomed. The people that adopted them put them OUTDOORS in a kennel run and basically forgot about them, I could not tell you how long they lived in this kind of environment, but it was a long time.
When they came into my custody, they were dirty, smelly, their nails so over grown, and their ears, wrinkles and tail pockets had not been cleaned in a very, very long time.
So the first chore was to get this Duo dazzling and that required about a half gallon of shampoo, 2.5 hours and a lot of elbow grease on my part. The girls loved their baths, they just sat in the tub and let me scrub away.
The girls, named Fanny and Freida (and I have no clue which is which yet) because when I call one they both come running, and if I split them up and call a name I get ignored like "that ain't my name" *LOL* so I am still working on this part of the puzzle. Anyway...the girls got to see Dr Utsey this morning and have all the typical neglected bulldog issues. Staph, bacterial and yeast infections of the skin, yeast infections in their ears and tail pockets, conjunctivitis of the eyes, interdigital cysts, and bad feet from standing in/on a wet surface for long periods of time. But nothing that a round of antibiotics and some TLC can't help with. They both also need to be spayed and this will be done when their other medical issues are in check.
They are very shy due to lack of human contact they have had lately, but warm up to you rather quick when they realize you are there to see them. One is more outgoing than the other but then the other one joins right in when she knows it is ok and then the butt wiggle fest is on!
They are very cute girls and will be hanging out here at the "Burgess Bullie Bed & Breakfast" for futher evaluation so please check back to see how they are doing.
